Want to get your original light novel published by J-Novel Club? Now is your chance!
(Los Angeles, California – July 1, 2023) – J-Novel Club is excited to announce that they will be hosting the JNC Original Light Novel Contest. This new contest was announced exclusively at Anime Expo during their industry panel. A webpage has been set up for interested contestants to find more details and to sign up for a mailing list that will notify them when submissions are open.
This new contest has several prize tiers including:
- Grand Prize of $15,000 with a Manga Adaptation by Kadokawa
- First Prizes of $3,000 each
- Runner-Up Prizes of $1,000 each
- BOOK☆WALKER Prize of $2,500
- In addition, all award winners will receive cover and internal artwork created, alongside digital publication by J-Novel Club.
Submissions are scheduled to open in Early August, with a final submission deadline of January 31, 2024. Submitted works must be in English. More details, FAQ, and the submission opening notification mailing list signup can be found on a special J-Novel Club webpage.
