J-Novel Club Announces Partnership with DRECOM Media to license Blade & Bastard in English at AnimeNYC 2022!

The light novel by Kumo Kagyu and illustrated by so-bin to be translated and released in English by J-Novel Club

(New York City, New York – November 19, 2022) – J-Novel Club LLC is excited to announce the acquisition of DRECOM Media's Blade & Bastard light novel following their latest announcement panel held live at AnimeNYC 2022 on November 19.

At the panel there was a special PV screening alongside comments from the author Kumo Kagyu (Goblin Slayer) and the illustrator so-bin (Overlord). Seiji Miyazaki (General Manager of Publishing & Film Production), Ryo Kawaguchi (General Manager of Business Planning Group), and Hiroyuki Tajima (General Manager of Business Development Group) of DRECOM Media also had the opportunity to announce that J-Novel Club would be simultaneously publishing the Blade & Bastard eBook in English at the same time of the Japanese release.

Eager fans can look forward to reading the first part of this highly-anticipated light novel with Part 1 on J-Novel Club later today as a special pre-release preview!
